We're at the Ruskin Dam!

We’ve begun work re-facing the existing hydro dam spillway surface. This complex seismic upgrade has our crew working on a 38 degree slope at heights of up to 40 metres. We’re applying shotcrete in 60-80 square metre panels to the 3,000 square metre spillway surface.

The Ruskin Dam, located on the Stave River in Mission BC, has provided electricity to the Lower Mainland for over 80 years. The overall upgrade will improve environmental performance and increase reliability and efficiency. We’re excited to be a part of such a significant project!
